I am glad they are caught but if they are stealing for themselves then that would be the end of it and other stolen birds would be found, if they are stealing to order then their shoes will soon be filled and the thieving will continue, JMO

It is happening in all walks of life not just pigeons and the culprits don't care about the consequences,  Cage and aviary magazine is full of similar stories regards parrots, finches and a number of other sought after birds. Staffies are high on the list and stolen for dog fighting etc. The list goes on. There even is a problem with Garden ornaments being stolen
