i got my 1st win this ob season from bourges 561 miles only 5 sent from 19 in club but what a feelin seeing my little checked hen home

think i had 20 wins from 24 one to go 1x1st marking station 2 x 2nd stations in club there was only up to 6 members  also 3 x 1st feds  first 5 in fed loads of second feds 3rd feds etc highest prize winner in 5 bird club about a 1000 or so birds in fed- but if truth be known never enjoyed racing at all north rd racing  is finished

first year racing in 10yrs solo with my wife where as before was with my dad as a kid only done young birds won 1st race which was mullingar 98 miles251 birds in club sent and i took 1st and 2nd then won my 2nd race at fermoy 193 miles must of been approx 150 birds in club but only out od top 10 twice in whole of young bird season every other rae i had 2nds and 3rds i was over the moon first season plus fed raes i won out of our clubs as well
