Our birds don't get the chances of some of you guys - our 9 race YB programme totals 860 miles to me! Don't know if that's a good or bad thing but I would like my YBs to have a bit more time on the wing.

some feds go for the soft option with ybs as thay want the birdage every week, but in the long run are thay doing the birds any favours ?

Mine had 6 x 35 mile tosses, 18 x 56 miles, 5 x 80 miles and a race at 80 miles. They did have a few 20-25 mile tosses but never noted them in my diary.

Not where i live! A 20-25 mile toss to me is not even as far as the next member in my club!!

Did not do them much harm only one race, won by 50+ ypm and had 5 together, flying 12 mile further and 30 miles west of the rest of the club.
