If I am right and you fix it, your birds will be better in every way. And, more importantly, they will do a lot better in the races. The idea of using anything in a pigeon loft to mask a smell is a terrible idea. You should work towards eliminating smells by sorting out the ventilation and by getting your stocking rate right.
