Loft Air Deodorizer

CAN you recommend a loft DEODORIZER? my loft does not stink but it has a dry crusty oder in it. i was thinking about those glade plug in"s

when i clean out i always spray  with jeyes fluid

as long as you dont over do it birds dont seem to mind

gives loft nice fresh smell  (dizzy)(dizzy)(dizzy)

check your ventilation if its right should not get any odours

I would be willing to bet that you have ventilation problems. Why not empty the loft and try a smoke bomb to check it out? If I am right and you fix it, your birds will be better in every way. And, more importantly, they will do a lot better in the races.

The idea of using anything in a pigeon loft to mask a smell is a terrible idea. You should work towards eliminating smells by sorting out the ventilation and by getting your stocking rate right. To be honest, I would have a fit if I walked into the loft and could smell anything.

owen,,y empty loft when u can get smoke bombs now where u can leave birds in the loft and it helps clear their heads and tracts so i believe m8y ;)

as far as i know there two differnt kinds of smoke bombs  one to leave in with pigeons and one to take birds out of the loft im not 100% on this

 

yes , also you get ones for the green houses, I like to get my birds out when I use them, as it does scare some of them,

hang some dry lavender stalks up, keeps moths away as well

 

some insecticides are actually made with lavander :) lol

 

they even love carrying them to the nest if left outside ,, great smell as well :) if the birds didnt like the smell, they wouldnt carry these to the nest :),,yip, great for the moths as well :)

any 1 tell me where i can get these lavender stalks from cos moths play havoc in my loft and drinkers,, am sure they think my drinkers are swimming pools 4 them  ;)

lavender grows in the garden [if planted] and soon grows into a bush , the stalks of this bush can be used as above :)

 

jimmy,, i fly on allotments and there none planted so where will i get it from 2 buy ?

when your birds are out give the loft a spray with household fly spray, you will get rid of the moths and flies,

 

I do that everytime a clean the loft out works a treat
