looking to get hold of a bird to use as a dropper for the new racing season anyone know what bird to look for or any birds that are goin cheap that  could use

fantails dont need to have big tails just ensure hungry

i was told about using a racing pigeon

a unrung pigeon if i can get hold of one

and elastic band the feathers

why not a cock ,i got a pair of them ,,but i did notice the cock  trying to pair to one of my y hens , is that why :)

you dont want any unwanted babies hence better as hens and cocks try to own landing boards so would be more of a hinderance than a help

dosn,t have to be show quality but remember,you have to clip it,s wings.i personaly do not use one,but i,m sure someone on this site could help you outcheers

well im going to use a stray roller  as a dropper it as made it self at home other week while i was doing some bits in me loft and it flown in the loft and i tryed web sites as found and phoned roller fed up and notting back ive tryed putting it out and it just sit in the garden then gose back in the loft.....

av got 8 4 hens 4 cocks and ther nt clipped down a hopper feed them from sat nyt till wed then a dnt feed them anymor then on sat they are hungry and they dnt go any wer but on the floor and wen a throw abit corn the scramble around and me pigeons drop in
