clyde Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 I heard that Dumbarton and Kirkintilloch ???? were let in as long as each individual member was passed by the officials of the fed first. Is there any truth in this ? why would that be ? i take it they want 2 pick them who they want

Was glad to see Dumbarton back in the Fed.. this surely opens the gates for Kirkintilloch and ALL its former members to enter back in to the Fed... Was unaware tho if you wanted a racepoint changed you had to personally find a suitable racepoint.. surely it should be put in front of the hall that if a change is wanted then maybe a race committee could be organised on behalf of the fed to look at other options rather than being left to an individual memeber doing it on his own.. I did notice that a number of Alexandria members present, myself included, never voted for either proposals as both were not fair or suitable for them...

I did notice that a number of Alexandria members present, myself included, never voted for either proposals as both were not fair or suitable for them... this the way its always been jonesy ,if you heard me i wanted to change from leicester to peterborough so i did my home work( made sure that it was suitable and facilities were there) and lobbied fanciers for support and got it passed , all you needed to do was say i propose to go to ? and get a seconder thats all mate and put it to a vote

Is there any truth in this ? yes dumbarton club were let back in but the only time kirky was mentioned was when i said my piece and told the hall that i would let all old members back in including kirky members this was also supported by my wee mate matt luke . but to no avail sorry

Yeah ill have a lot more homework done for next year. I just hope, especially after speaking to the boys in the club, that people do send birds with the Fed. As i have a feeling no one will send to any of these races.. I did notice tho you said Peterborough was more on the pigeons 'line of flight'.. yet in a previous debate on here you said that 'lines of flight' no longer exist in pigeon racing..

I for one see no reason why if Kirky re - applied that they would be denied or anyone who wished to be part of the club...
