andrecrock Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Hi everyone, Got me self a nice stb clock today just because i like them.i dont intend to use it as i got a t3 and buying ets soon.More for really back up and to sit on shelf and look pretty. He needs a good service i was advised seeing he stops on the second day every time.I dont want to open the lead seals me self cos that's op against RPRA rules in case i ever need it.do i send the clock to rpra or can it be done privately and were do i send it? Thanks Andre
pjc Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 i think there are approved clock repairers listed in the RPRA rule book but Linells def do service them.
THE FIFER Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 get someone to take it to blackpool
OLDYELLOW Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 stbs are serviced by boddy and ridewood also think leefes and sons at malton service them also
REDCHEQHEN Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 You can't use the clock for a race unless it has been 3 way tested by your club
Guest Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 open it and run it if ok ,do as redchqhen says get it 3-way tested and off to go .andy.
Tony C Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Get a quote first, you could end up paying more than the clocks worth.
PIGEON_MAN Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 I would say that a servive would cost about 4 times what the clock is worth.
