showman Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Maybe all Stuart is trying to do is, out of Raymonds' birds at auction, draw our attention to something he considers a little bit special. I have never met nor talked to Stuart, but making my judgement on other peoples' comments, as the seller of this lot, maybe its a matter of principal and integrity, which would hinder him from purchasing at his own auction.OMO.
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 if it isnt any gd for raymond or stu it aint no gd for me lol
swilcox Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Rockyand Rambo if you dont sell good pigeons you never get anywhere, ive highlighted this hen as i believe she is super and i Hope and Pray she goes to a top loft as she will only but increase the success of the fancier, Raymond and myself!!! As the auctioneer i dont believe its fair to purchase pigeons back from an auction, if you bid on this hen and lost it to find out you were bidding against me im sure you would be best pleased, as i have said ive only purchased 2 from an auction ive conducted and that was right at the start when i was learning the ropes. If i wasnt involved in the sale, would i bid on her, too right i would but things have to be above board and thats that. As ive said put her in the hand and judge for yourself!!! Stuart

Guest lenwadebob Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Stuart Wilcox and Rob Savage, are both genuine pigeon fanciers, who will give of their best, My little tip for Blackpool, save ya money lads and lasses and spend it on the heroes auction
Guest mick bowler Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 im sure she prob does handle well but i would only purchase birds out of entire clearance sales as then i know for sure that the pigeons im buying are the best the fancier has i for one would not sell one of my best hens im sure raymond must think he has better if he didnt he wouldnt sell her and there the pigeons i would want ! So are you saying only birds from ECS are going to breed winners and are always better than birds from a normal auction? I think its not just down to what type of sale it is but who the fancier is and the type of birds the fancier has, including what good birds that fancier has bred before and/or what the fancier has won and in what type of opposition. I know of a few clearance sales lately, with all these super strains, winning loads, yet strangely these fanciers were not part of a local superclub where all the top lads fly, i wonder why??? I would also ask the question as to why they having an ECS, i know some are genuine but others...............
swilcox Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Honestly your all a good bunch of lads on PB, i dont take anything that is said to heart, i know its banter and everyone has an opinion. I put this thread up and for that reason im there to be shot at, at the end of the day i have 100% confidence in the pigeons i offer at auction and i know i have always done my best for the people on this site as have Raymond and we have alwyas been well supported for that!!! Blackpool s a mind field and there are 100's of pigeons for sale but im confident that ours will be amongst the most honest ad genuine pigeons there. All the best Stuart
pigeonpete Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 i think on that note i will lock the thread :-)
