Just had a look at this years rings, they arent the best, they are a bit ragged at the bottom, so it looks like the file will be coming out, must be getting done on the cheap, any body else noticed this.  :)

cem mate if there the new combi rings you on about i wouldnt file the skirts as the bird the ring is on will be foyed from any race im not happy with them if there the same nest season thinking of going else were for my rings

I dont see anything wrong with them yes they r different dont think it will do harm i have the bricon ets chips and they fit in nicey i think they r dead on

 

have to agree with you , think they are perfect for the bricon ets chis

my only concern with these rings is if the bird for some reason or another hits something , wires , aerials etc and breaks a piece of the lugs , then the bird is finished  as it would be classed as not intact ring

You would still be able to use the traditional rubbers to race such a bird ;)

have to agree,rings have a sharp plastic rag at the bottom.

 

so  does the new ones its as if they are not finnished properly and just clamped over doesnt look good but i supose we will have to wait and see the big prob is if thease rings start breaking down later i dont know what they will do let imagine you had a bird going for its gold award and the ring starts to fall  apart frightening

absolutely,thought i had a bad batch,seems all the union rings are affected.i worry water might get in and destroy number

have had some of mine in the past thats had a crack in the plastic let water into the paper number and distort the the colour making it difficult to read :-/ :-/
