we have raised £4239  :-/     i would like to THANK king billy(tam) for coming up with the idea.a big THANKS to lenwadebob (bob) . to all the breeders and buyers THANKS very much.

I have had some pm,s from bidders on some of the lots that have not been paid. so i am waiting till this Saturday before i pm the members if their lot has not been paid.

 

any lots not sold WON,T be going up for sale again.

 

in an ideal world we would all be loaded with cash or all working with no family problems .

we are not in an ideal word so i won,t be putting any names up of any lots not paid for.

Yes Gary but you dont bid and buy things or birds you have no intention  of or cant afford to pay for .. People like that are just time wasters and should have left well alone and let some

other bidder get the bird they wanted .

 

Not only have they deprived the soilders of there money but also other fanciers who were bidding on the birds ..

I consider this nothing short of disgraceful that bids are place on lots and not paid for

NO EXCUSES THEY BID AND SHOULD PAY OR BE NAMED ON HERE

Although it is Gary and Bobs call if the vendors agreed the lots unpaid should be offered

to the 2nd highest bids JMO

Those Lots will NOT be offered for re-auction, on a matter of principle. I never ask for anything in return for what I do for charity and NEVER expect charity in return, but I have to say, IF PEOPLE BID, THEN PEOPLE PAY, or they get banned from bidding on future auctions as per site rules. I put birds up in good faith, as did the other donors, for OUR SOLDIERS, the same as for the N&NUH Children's Ward Auction that I ran a few months ago. I hope admin have blocked the non payers from bidding as there are other auctions which could suffer the same problems.

I understand peoples circumstances MAY change, but at least have the decency to let the sellers/organisers know.

But to bid just to stop someone else winning and then disappearing into the ether, is bang out of order. That is why I proposed that buyers/bidders should have a minimum number of posts or minimum time as a member BEFORE they are allowed to buy/bid for sale birds or auction lots on this site.

Let us all hope that lessons will be learned.

I know Gary is pee'd of with this, and so am I. We both put a lot of time and effort into running this and got bleeding ears of our wives, and all we asked for in return was that people honoured their bids. A few are going to spoil it for the majority  :-/

a fantastic sale ,well done to all the members who have put so much work into this, for such a great charity, congrats to you lads who have worked so hard in making this amount

i have to agree 100% remember its not past some to do this just to stop ithers getting them sad people one rule if you cant afford it dont bid for it just put that updated post you had on with the lots and buyers and the lots paid for i think yous owe that to your self and also the good fanciers that put the birds in

i would vote to ban anyone off the site if they were found to be bidding to stop anyone else have that bid, then not pay.

anyone who bids should be accountable for his/her actions and made public that they have not done so.jmo

THE REALY BAD THING THAT I SEE IS THE CHARITY IS SUFFERING BY THIS ACTION AND THE GENUNINE FANCIERS WHO HAVE PAYED WILL BE THINKING THAT THEY COULD BE ONE THE MEMBERS THINK HASENT PAYED AND EVERY DONER OF A BIRD WILL BE hacked OFF AS WELL NOT GETTING A CHANCE TO HELP OUR SOLDIERS THAT IS SACRIFICEING THERE LIVES FOR US {SORRY i think the lots that is not sold should be put up for highest bidder for one night you dont have     to do nothing some one on here i am sure would finish it off as i am sure a lot of fanciers would like to get a chance to get them there is one thing for sure them that didnt take them did not want them in the first place vallance should allow this to come to a satisfactory end and sell the birds that is already been given to this good cause
