sapper756 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 This being the case, Auction are held on the public forum with the permission of Admin and therefore should be sorted on the public forum JMO agree to a certain degree Bob, should be sorted on the public forum, but believe it,s the duty of those running the sale, to sort out things like you Bob, this is my opinion, and I respect your opinion m8
Guest lenwadebob Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 To my knowledge I don't think I have ever asked Admin to police an Auction that I have been involved in, as I feel I am quite capable of sorting the issues out myself with the evidence and data that I keep relating to those said auction. What I have asked for both publicly and privately is for a better set of rules to be put in place, whereby buyer and seller are better protected. This done, and thereafter if either party are in breach of those rules I think it is only fair, that based on the factual evidence supplied to Admin, they act accordingly to enforce those rules. I think everyone should see the sense in that. Personally this is not a witch hunt, or a Kangaroo Court, as has been suggested, against any single member on my part, as there have been a number who have defaulted to my knowledge.
sapper756 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 As I said previously, I think there are lessons to be learnt for both sellers and bidders :-/ no one is perfect and mistakes will be made, but as long as we learn from these, then we should all benefit in the future

jakjak Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Well Duncan I don't know you mate, but you seem to have taken a lot of flack on behalf of someone else, that's what usually happens when you try to help someone and things go wrong.I would think lesson learned comes to mind,by all accounts no one really has a bad word for you, so I'll go along with that. I hope you have a great season with your birds. Best wishes. Lindsay. I agree with this post. I have found Duncan to be a very nice guy...........he has simply been let down by someone else
