I had a youngster hatch yesterday and the hen came out with both shells flew up to the cock and dropped them, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes. She was with another hen last year as I had fewer cocks so think she is just over the moon. What are they like eh! The cock jist looked as if to say, SO! He He He!

just noticed the 2 shells on the floor of loft   and just got a wee glimpse of one of the babies

 

i dont disturb them until time to ring them .  Just give em peace and let them get on with it .
