Mealy Cock Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Since joining this forum I have read a lot about BOP attacks, cat problems and the like and the devastation And distress it causes, not only that the financial loss. I am now wondering is it worth restarting back in the sport; it seems the problems my brother and I had Many years ago are nothing compared to present times and they are now seem to be 10x worse.
showman Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 You need to make contact with local fanciers to determine if your area has a raptor problem, cats are up to you as you can keep an eye open for them in your garden, and make up your own mind. If you consider the problem is too great, but you still want pigeons of sorts, start the show-racers, nowhere near the same probs. !!
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Because of our site and the communications we here of it much more. Not saying that it not worse now however had it not been for comuing on here i would not know about all the attacks, which were happening long before we had good communications. Just a thought i to have not long returned to the sport Cheers Rab Smith
Roland Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Showman that echo's what the RPRA said that the 'Hawk watch' was for.... to tell folks the best places to set up :-/ :-/ So does one move... then move again everytime the 'New' area gets swamped.
