BLACK W F Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 The reality is that if you bred 50 ybs and donate one bird to a charity sale at this time of the year your likely to leave the best in your loft, its just human nature, probaly a little different when you fulfilled your breeding requirements, thats why i think its better to have these ybs sales in May or the end of April. think your wrong Stewart i have donated a fair few to good causes and they will come from the birds i paid good money for out the stock lofts and they will get good healthy sound birds and who knows racing wise if they will be the best or not time will tell but this will be the last year nothing will leave after this year except gifts money is tight all where i know i,m on good money but i,m down over £1000 a month in my hand and theres a lot worse off by far ;)
JohnQuinn Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 You's are all missing the point, its no about the fancier gettin top money for the yb's, its about the good cause getting a turn, and they don't know who's doo made what and would probably think spending 20 quid on a doo was nuts. Good luck to the buyers and well done to every man that puts one in for the sales.
