last night on the local news, there was somebody living on the edge of exmoor who was trapping and killing magpies as this was the cause of all the songbirds dissapearing

there seemed to be no mention of sparrowhawks  ;) ;) ;)

what aload of bo**ocks! never seen a population explosion of magpies all of a sudden? and yet there are thousands more bop around than there was 10 years ago! another cover up by the rsbb imo :-(

Yes it is. The restriction was lifted years ago.

They do take baby birds and eggs and will spoof your youngsters if out on the loft and have a nest near by!
