Guest waynemorris Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I just added a post on the website about the collection of rings from the nest..i think we all should and maybe they will have to
pjc Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 maybe rings should be made of an explosive material, if the wearer becomes deceased the ring self destructs!
Guest numpty01 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 wonder if they need bell ringers in derby
white logan Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I am sure that if anyone was caught taking those rings, a case could be made against them for theft. if those rings were removed while the birds were in residence a case of disturbing a rare peregrine falcon would be made and a trip before the magistrate , but like bob said ,could someone get images of rings and keep a count
Guest waynemorris Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 http://www.regencybrighton.com/birds/webcam/ think this is a webcam in brighton not to sure...if anyone wants to see how the southern peregrines go about there business..Dont think this is 24hr like the Derby webcam either
Guest Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 Have a look at the picture at the top of the page on the blog. If you click on it it takes you to another page. If you click again it takes you to a full size picyure. You can view or save it. Now if you save it and zoom in on yout picture editor there seems to be a "discrepancy" by the leg on the right hand side. Maybe a conspiracy theory but looks to me like someone has airbrushed a ring out the picture.
PIGEONJIMI Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 As i mentioned on a previous thread I asked the question on the Derby percy site re: pigeon rings,In the end it turned into an anti pigeon page & they stopped accepting pigeon queries, anyway heres a link to the photo's
Guest Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 If you hold down ctrl and press PrtSc (hold down control key and press print screen) and then right click either in a new word document or into Paint you can get a copy of the screen you are viewing - you can then enlarge or crop the image. Then save the document and you can then attach it to an email. Thank you Denny ;) ;)

Blue Tooner Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 bloody percy is back with tea! cant make out what it is? Sure I got a glimpse of a ring for a sec. >
just ask me Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Im not sure if i am thinking along the right lines as quite often i aint. However.... We (myself included) must vist the Derby Peregine link 10+ times a day and as such giving this website and webcam hits - Now when these organisers (RPSB) present the public's interest in such a project surely it will only result in there eagerness to do more of the same - No doubt due to levels of public interest in such a project as when the figures are presented its not going to say x amount of 1000 hits a day were pigeon fanciers so they cannot be counted. Just a thought and not a knock at anyone as i have said above i watch it on a regular basis. ;D ;D ;D ;D was just thining the same thing and it dont count the number of pll logged in just hits also does it count if u move from one cam to the other
pigeonpete Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Sure I got a glimpse of a ring for a sec. > im sure i did to, a dark coloured ring?

Guest waynemorris Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 They get all flustered and defensive on the web site when we start asking about the racing pigeons and if we can have our rings back
