dazza Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I have just read that for approx 400 years the peregrine population in this country was 800 pairs. By the RSPB's own admission in 2002 there were 1400 pairs. That figure has probably increased significantly in the last 7 years too. Anybody know how the european racers deal with this problem - presumably the numbers will have grown over there too! What stance have the French taken - they are not usually slow to fight their corner if they feel they something is unjust. Finally what sort of remuneration do these RSPB supremo's get. Can we find out through the charities commission or freedom of information act or anywhere else.
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 i spent a while on hawk site last night and beleave me they are aware the peri is well over its natural level lets hope the rspb try along the route of stopping anyone keeping captive hawks the there will be another nail for them to try and pull out of their backs

dazza Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Just looked at the 07/08 RSPB accounts and to my untrained eye it looks like remuneration was £35m. That,s about a third of their annual income. It would be great too find out what sort of salaries the directors and exec's are receiving.
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 what you must remmber is 70percent are volinteers so its the admin and boss who gets the dosh
dazza Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 That's my point Chris would the public give so freely if they were aware that someone was on an inflated salary?
pjc Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 sure public would like to know where there charitable donations go! To pay some fat cat no doughbt
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 well it could be looked into i suppose its time to get few letters into natinol papers and on there websites just to raise a few questions the rspb have closed few sites to comments as they diod not like fanciers going on them and moaning but there are others
Roland Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Thanks Numpty for the answer, so you don't know who didn't sign the petetion. Then may we take it then that it won't be brought up again. Thank you. Further you don't even know who Rouke Garfield is :-/ Fine, then lets just agree not to correspond any more and leave each other to get on with what we both hope for. A vast reduction in the B.O.P. Regards Roland. End of.
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 youer just trying be smart all the time roland grow up get life try looking and then tell me who aint signed but you wont because we wil then know secret ???/ you need to learn talk r8ubbish it comes back at you but hy youer commitee and can get all the comments removed i ask decent question you be smart ??well carry on cos i got plenty up my sleeve mate and you will answer somewere along the line
pigeonpete Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I think on that note, there needs to be no further comment from roland or numpty towards each other, agree to disagree, We dont want another. Thanks :-)
Roland Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Far from it numpty01. I was, and now have clarified silly statements that you and others keep repeating about 'Committee members'. One minute you flippantly try to say you know who thay are, what they have done and you KNOW they didn't do this that and the other AND then ASK who they are :-/ :-/ Rather silly really. There are umpteens examples of this underhanded Wink wink nodd nodd, and after your last threat, they can only endorse any and all actions I have taken. So you may have the last word. Don't care really, for I won't be dragged down to silly uttering and rubbish you and others resorted to last WEEK - END bringing all of us pigeon faternity into disrepute. Yes a laughing stock. So may I just suggest you and yours go your way for I and other will certainly leave you be.... Just would like the same respect offered to us to be left be. Not much to ask for really :-/
Guest numpty01 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 soo i ask decentquestion as fancier not as anything else yet it seems i am not allowed answer or rather rubbish instead ? we are back to same thing the click protected yet this also must not be commented on i will shut up on this site about pob and rolands involvement or indeed its com but you will answer i will make sure of that publicly ?????now if you want remove me carry on because if we cant get answer to a cause that wants funds and has mandate that is not questionable then thats not funny roland tell the members my view on what you sent me ???? drival so i disagreed along with others but you dont like it tough youer going get lot more thrown at you as soon as it gets in the bhw im sure? are you then going to tell all the fanciers this is secret and ridicule them as well ???hideing to nothing :-/ :-/ :-/youer mandate is rubbish and the fancy will tell and show you it is and i note you said others can go and play or utter rubbish yes the same ones who refused youer asking to be on com now they are wasters as well ;D ;D ;D
pigeonpete Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 End of really now!! Any further back and too and will be locked, neither are doing yourself any favours now :-( What good are either of you doing by arguing? Roland you continue with your campaign, and numpty yours. simple :-)

Guest bristolkev Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 aye and ask why rspb wanted kill our bristol owls at same time ;D ;D chris spoke to my neighbour this morning who works at the bristol uni about the 2 eagle owls nesting in the uni and she siad the first one of the two was found dead a month ago and the other one is missing! so has the RSPB been working in mysterious ways here? and nothing has been on the local news about them going missing.
Guest Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 The RSPB needs a thorough investigation into it's activities IMO. There should be a Government enquiry into the way it is using money donated by the public, for what can only be described as being detrimental to Great Britain's natural beauty and the wildlife that depends on it. They are changing the face of Britain by buying up thousands of acres of land and changing the natural habitat for the benefit of one species to the detriment of many others.

chickadee Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 i think a good option would be to approach celebs and try to get them on our side....joanna lumley did well for the gurka,s im sure celebs would get the petitions and matter in the limelight better than we could...just a thought! if we could get a celeb to speak for us then im sure we could get this rolling a lot faster and better. dunno but expect this has already been thought of.. What about Mike Tyson, he is a well known celeb and fancier, his first remit should be to knock out Numpty and Roland ;D ;D ;D
Guest numpty01 Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 What about Mike Tyson, he is a well known celeb and fancier, his first remit should be to knock out Numpty and Roland ;D ;D ;D well something is in hand on that matter but lets wait and see but i wil tell you it will be prominant were everybody will see sobsbs logo
Guest Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 The worms in Bristol are issued with spades so they can bury the evidence over night.
