u can see that cats do not like it  hair stands up on the back of there necks then they shoot off twice as fast as they came in  ;)

how you protect your birds is up to you but i will not allow anything to harm my birds iam sory if you dont aggree if my dogs harmed your birds or anything concerned with you you would not have to do anything i would, but dogs are different you can complain about dogs there are rules they need to abide by but none for cats is that fair??

Unfortunately life is unfair - but there are laws of the Land by which we have to abide!

All I am saying is there is no need for some of the extreme methods mentioned on here!

If you read the posts there are many repellent suggestions.

We have had birds killed by neighbours little dogs do you suggest I 'get rid of them'???

if the neighbors dog gets any of the birds i gave young kieran then the girls will come through and explain that they have not to do that

the scarecrow water jet keeps them away, also i got a new ultrasonic gadget from the sunday post, its the best one i have ever had, large, you can have the sound so only animals hear ir or you can have it on alarm, which gives off one good screach,so can also be good for intruders as well, also has a light on it which keeps birds away, I have 5 cats next door, see them about a lot but not in my back yard,

both my neighbours have cats but i have got 2 terriers that hate cats with a passion they get on brill with my pigeons my mate has had the same problem with cats trying to get into loft so he has put electric fence on top of his loft roof and around the loft at grass level and a few inch's above do work bloody got zapped by it made me jump so god nose what it will do when it zapps a cat but after a week of having the fence set he hasnt had any problems not even seen a cat so seems to have worked for my mate.

Yes I agree 67ghirl, but it doesn't send them 3 foot in the air or knock them out, it is more an irritating tickle... uncomfortable.

Gosh does one think that Garden centres etc. would be allowed to sell them if they were untoward :-/ :-/ Of course not. IT NOT connect to the mains that gives them sivitus dance.

Gosh you can put your hand on it and hold it ... Works on horses still etc. etc. so must be good and does what it is intended without detrimental damage, permant hurt or pain, doen't eat them, all what cats can and do cause to our pigeons.
