showman Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Just had a quick look. Someone has posted that they have the smallest remains of a pigeon which was attacked and devoured by a sparrowhawk in their back garden, and a few people have posted that it was a pity the person who owned the garden had missed the event, and not seen it for themselves !!!!!
pjc Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 just about sums them up. Should ask if the finder has seen a ring on the pigeon so that the owner can be informed where there prized posesion has been murdered for somebody's viewing pleasure!
retired Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 better one http://www.southlincsrspb.org.uk/ Nice site and very local as Freiston shore is about 5 minutes from me and Frampton reserve just the other side of town. Still dont see many hawks though
Guest Thunder Birds Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Anybody posting on those sites needs to be careful what they say - there are ways and means! There are things that could be said that would do pigeon fanciers and what we're trying to achieve no good what so ever!
