Roland Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 day before yesterday I saw at first glance a pigeon way off and at a decent hieght. Thought as it glided and then flapped that it was trying hard to home and was obviously tired. Then as the thouhts finished the realism set in what a plonker I am lol - Well I knew that lol. Any way it was the hen sparrow hawk. First I seen since the last two lot that nested near by left. Birds took no notice and flew down to loft and back to roof tops as norm. Yesterday some were out when she came a calling. his time, though some were on the loft, they just flew up and circled to a good hieght. Nary a worry to them it seemed, just to me as I got the broom ready - nearest thing to me out side of the crow bar which is too heavy to wield - besides they are for crows lol. So thought that as the baseball bat was inside I couuld if necessary make a clean sweep with a broom. But fancy think of a Hawk as a pigeon, regardless how far off eh!
