Now why would anyone want to pair a proven breeder to an unknown racer -Breeding wise.

If the racer also was a proven breeder then you would be pairing to proven breeders ;D

most eye sign men say pair light eyes to dark eyes , but never the same eye together , but i have paired same eyes and had winners ,  but i believe you should pair on size as welll as the eye  i.e a big cock with a small hen , and a big hen to a small cock .

Sure many fantastic breeders have passed through many lofts but you still need to know  how to race the produce!

dont beleve in it as far as im concerned holds no water at all i pair dark to dark pale to pale dark to pale red to red  makes no diference unless your pairing for eye colour

i am a big believer that for racing , it helps if they have 2 eyes !!! for breeding take the pigeons shape, conformation, "winning genes"and try to re - produce what you would like yourself, best to best is a good theory !!
