aye ready Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 thats still a few losses.how do we loss them does anyone know? i think a lot of it's to do with birds that are not 100% health wise, they are disorientated before liberation and head in the wrong direction,to me y/b's are like sheep and will hold onto the company they're flying with,by the time the healthy birds realise they are way of their line which according to birds reported can be up to 200miles away hence exhaustion sets in and dehydration and i also feel that the feeding of the modern day racer doesn't allow for mistakes i.e not enough bodyweight (only talking about y/b's here)
Guest chrisss Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 more than likely none at all ,i have still got to put another loft up [so no room for yb at the moment, alright i could tuck 8 in with the old birds at a push]i am behind by about 5 weeks and with my mum having died, i doubt i will have time to bred in time for a useful yb season, but good luck to the guys who can [and will]
grizzal Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 we brought 10 and have breed another 20,and my m8 is having the next round out of stock loft [12]
