greenlands Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Depends whats going onto the table,no need to buy anything special for them because when they get use,they'll just about eat anything.Carrot peelings especially, cabbage,cauly broccoli as i say anything off th table.Lindsay

Just now one pack each of lettuce, spinach leaves, chopped kale and cress will feed my 40 pigeons twice in same week - though they do waste a lot at this time of year. During last summer, they'd demolished the lot, and more, 3 times a week. There's also more on offer in the supermarket then, e.g. sprigs of oregano and thyme.
