Guest Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 lol no body must fly the darkness system anymore
adam owen Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 people say differant things sum say pitch black sum say they got be able to get to drinker my opinion is that at night time the birds wont drink any way as it is pitch dark so i would say pitch dark my self :-/
grizzal Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 we slide wood over the opening, but it still leaves enough light for them to see the drinker so they can drink ok.
Tony C Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 I have four wooden shutters inside the loft and one outside, the outside on covers a 2'x2' window. The internal ones are closed first, the outside one some 15 minutes later to give them time to perch up for the night. The loft is nigh on total darkness once all the shutters are up.
