The more y/birds you breed the more chances you have of breeding a good one but I would agree with ROCKYandRAMBO aswell.

all comes to how big the loft is to house them in

 

and size of yer wallet of course ;) a good team 30 to 40 birds imo

i judge how many by length of the back of the shed and times it by 3 , so 10 foot for 30 birds (but fit 40-50 perchs), if you have more ybs then you will need more air flow
