remember the old adage :)

when the wind is in the east, its neither good to man nor beast :)

the birds have a long rd in front of them,, my advice or my opinion,, is not to train this early,,, IF the birds are to last and win,  later in the season,,,,,,,, patience is the game :)

yes its been   unusually warmer of late, in fact temps to rise wed,, but i am only advising to be very wary :),,

a couple of  bad/hard  toss can ruin yearlings for the year,, i find yearlings come into their best in the month of may,,many are lost b4 this,, but as they say,, make hay while the sunshines :),,, lets just hope it continues :)

With only having yearlings it will be about another 3 weeks before mine see the basket and then only if the weather is good , once they have been trained I will put them in the midweek for a few short races before deciding on a longer term race plan for the year , they may just race the midweek program and start the hard work next year when I will hopefully have a larger team  ;)

Have the late breds from last year (August bred) up to 35 miles now.  plan to race them the 1st 5 or 6 races this season starting on the 4th April and then may send them to a couple of shorter races later in the season.  coming well so far, started with 23, lost 2 in training and one hit something.  20 left but like i say, very keen and im struggling to beat them home at the moment
