Guest Vic Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 One of the oddest of races I can remember from Niort. Good velocities from some, but the birds in general have taken a battering. Makes one wonder whether the majority got across. Plenty of good birds missing. I sent 4 previous winners, but aint seem them. I timed 2 yearlings, within five minutes, to finish 2nd & 3rd. This to me was a very queer race indeed. What a season!
Guest Vic Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 thank redcheqhen he's broke my novice 1st club and am buzzin Well done John! I'm made up for you. You beat our club. Charlie Grice won it at 15.38. I was 13.55 and just turned the hour. But can't remember a race quite like it. When I timed the first two in, I thought , here we go, they'll all be back within the hour. Only got one more. What a disaster! Some good flyers haven't even clocked. But well done John, you did very, very well.
