Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 You with Almond valley?? no mate central
Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Not sure if a couple will go together??? we will be going with the north west probably but my thoughts are we should all go together birds are all coming into the same area. Should be 1 big combine i think
b.massey Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Well to be honest your birds will possibly come over my head. Usually see the central pigeons coming through and cutting round the pentlands... Not saying them all but there are usually a few batches on a sat when we are waiting on birds. See no reason why birds cant go together. Can have a wee private race with other feds :) ;D ;D

b.massey Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 We (Midlothian) are being tortured by hawk attacks. A lot of birds being reported returning with hawk injuries to them... Not nice what they need to face... Only get worse. I fear for our young birds
b.massey Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 expect a quick race tha morra, again. Think the S SW wind will be strong enough mate?

b.massey Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Yeah itc only going to get worse mate. The more they keep breeding. 5-10 years down the road and I cant see anyone racing
blaz Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 i asked 3 other members in club how many birds did they lose last week as i dropped 3 and they said 7 10 and 14 . hope its a better one tomorrow

You think it was just coincidence we were about the only fed racing up this way that day and having bad losses... I heard percy attacks done big damamge mate We were maybe the only easy targets for them that day
blaz Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 you would think with all the science we have to date the scientist would be able to come up with something. that raptors when hitting a bird and eating it would get ill sick or dead . as raptors are quick learners eat that and your are soon ill or really sick. or am i just wishful thinking.
carlsberg Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 just wishfull thinking an ounce of lead should stop them more easier
Guest chrisss Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 GOOD LUCK TO ALL RACING indeed this year through no fault of anyone, i am not racing [nor at this rate bleeding breeding :o :o]i wish everyone tomorrow a good result .[but the year after i will beat you ;D ;D ;D ;D]
