Guest Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 NFC Sunday the 7th June, 2009. The birds at St. Nazaire are held over, there will be no liberation today. The birds are being moved to Alencon with which its position will give an opportunity to have an early liberation on Monday 8th June That's dissapointing another 20 mile less the program this year gives poor preperation for Tarbes, 224, 230 & 204 miles!
rickythetaff Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 W.N.R. At Newbury let go 9AM. Good luck all.

dick Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 South west GLamorgan liberated 9.15am in a helping wing from newbury
magpie Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 We're disappointed with the NFC switch to Alencon which won't do us much good in Dorset unless there is east in the wind again. It's way too far east for us - although I'm sure the fanciers in the London section will be rubbing their hands together after having to put up with east winds for most of the big races so far. The last time we flew Alencon we had a decent bird locally but still didn't get in the first thousand in the NFC Open result. But look on the bright side Albear - if there is much west in the wind tomorrow (that's assuming they go up because the forecast still doesn't look that good) our birds will get a good few hours flying under their belts for the longer ones !

T_T Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 I might have tagged onto the wrong date for libs but the Kent Combine are up at Le-Mans 10am light South wind. I can see Frenchmen playing Bouls on the French coast, it's that clear. Good luck to those racing.
Guest pigeonboyno1 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 WITH SNFC HELD OVER AGAIN How come feds have been liberated from newbury this morning but we aren't.
