Cuthy Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Hi Mick. I have to say that I am very disappointed with the threads that I have read on the Ronny pigeons. Last year as you know I had 14 direct. I raced them because I have no interest in selling.I was pleased with the results. I raced them to the coast 215 miles . I lost 6 from the 14. They scored well in a year that I did not give my best to the birds. This year I have bought another 14. I will race them to the coast as young birds. I will also race the yearlings. I think then that I will be in a position to comment on the ability of these birds. I would add that that with all my dealings with Ronny I have found him to be absolutley genuine. He sold me the birds at a price so that I could race them. He made no outlandish claims about the birds just that they were good birds that in the right hands would score out of turn..He has developed a family of pigeons that he can be justly proud of. The Blacks and Blues are outstanding birds, I have no grizzles.I have posted this because I think that these posts are doing Ronny no favours by all the back biting. He is a genuine pigeon fancier and doesnt need all this kindergarden point scoring
