Tony C Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 I agree that the crates could have been designed better as to allow a layer of material on the bottom of the crates but our racing and more importantly our returns have been better since we've used a Geraldy.

Guest strapper Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 there are slight probs with the crates, they could have been designed better, maybe with a grill floor in them. the trailers are great in my opinion..the big problem is having sensible people using them .
slinky slitheroe Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 Typical of what please explain. :-/ of the crap u come up with

You can fit them out with special grills.I believe Lourdes lofts on here fabricated some specially for this purpose.
thunderboult Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 has anyone using these metal crates with floor grills had any pigeons with feet injuries?

DUBLINFLYER Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 i was in germany and was very impressed with them but they are very expensive, heres a couple of pics
Tony C Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 By looking at the photo’s they seem to have two different size crates, the ones in the small red trailers seem to be higher with grills at the bottom.
Guest strapper Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 this is the welsh north road feds transprter...well one of them..we have two.
ALF Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 does that matter So who's transporter was it you seen??
Guest IB Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 I saw the Almond Valley Geraldy a few years back. It had metal grills on bottom, so I can't imagine birds getting dirty on that. I was impressed by the whole set-up. But there is always room for improvement: we looked at plastic grills with removable bottom tray; Headroom of 10" was felt to be a bit 'tight', though the posted pics appear to show some with increased headroom now?
Guest Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 whats on the bottom of the crates corricated paper with a couple of hand fulls of bedmax
