is it too late to train old birds

i have some old birds 1 07 and 2  08 birds they have never been tossed in there life is it too late to start toss training there only three of them

its never to late to train inexperainced birds just start them of like young birds 4x5mls 4x 10mls 2x20mls 2x30mls and they should be fine

It is better to train them in the warm weather than trying to do it next Spring when it will be cold. I have never had much luck with latebreds, but I am sure that you could make something of them if you can give them plenty of training this year. But, and it is a big "But", if you are going to do it, do it well and give them a really good training.

I am going to send them to the races as Trainers with the y/b's.

If they are old hens they can go to the young bird races as trainers. I start my late breds either in june or with the young uns, and send 'em to the old hens national. My 07 late breds started in june and go to Bordeaux on thursday.
