I have a UNIKON Champ loft clock with pocket clock, Now that the this race season is over, some of my young birds that raced & i thought was hens, have turned out cocks!  How do I change the sexes on my clock at home ???.  Do the birds have tobe deleted & put back on ready for the new season 2010???

Have a word with the person who put all your info.on your clock to start with, they should change any details such as different sex,s or even add any extra birds etc for next year.

you cant do that yourself m8, it can only be done by the clock setters , you will get it done when you assign rings for next year,

when you go to your club next year with that bird they can change the sex on marking night without having to change the number of the ring etc etc .

As a secretary  I make  sure things like this are done well before a marking night,I ask members to give me a list of any alterations they want doing,so that I can sit and do them through the winter, the last thing I want to be doing is changing things on a marking night.

when I load the birds at beginning of season we put all birds in as hens then at end of season we change the sexes as most dont know yb sexes when we start this alleviates a lot of problems with changing stuff in the middle of the season as sec it is a GIANT pain in the A#* when everyone is wanting to change assigments and such throughout the season the AU has a rule that all birds flown in a season must be on a list at the beginning of the races if a bird is not on this list it cannot be added later on some things are of little consiquence and some members make a fuss over the stupidest things the sex of a bird during training dosent make much of a diffrence but you darn sure want the sex right on the diplomas I understand this but I dont need to try to change these things at 7:30 on saturday when I got 300 birds to load

if your sec or offical goes on to your ring list right click on the ring number it can be amended accordingly

just edit the details, and remember to sychronise clock or they wont be transferred from PC to pocket clock... usually sec job.

Surely this has to be the secretaries/ets setter,s job. only he/she should be able to change details :-/
