I am going to have a few more yearling hens than cocks for next year. Not going to have a big team and have space for a few more pairs. Should I be trying to get some additional young cocks to break to the loft if possible. I would like to fly all the hens if I can.

You could get two hens paired to one cock.. then just observation and start trying wee extra tricks for motivation..

Put up a new thread for Jealousy.. im sure they'll be a few guys who fly it that can give you the ins and outs..

Mate hens with cocks and take eggs or ybs preferably, split pairs, mate other hens with same cocks in same boxes,  take eggs only, split.Let them run together for 5 min on Friday before race.Bedlam, chaos, but watch them race each other home to cock or nest or both. Multi motivation. ;)
