Guest Taylors Choice Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 There is a meeting this Sunday for the BICC. As you may know the marking station in manchester has closed and they are now looking for a new one. We have put forward ourselves as a free station and we have also offered to try and get the markers for them. We have a large carpark and plenty of room inside 3 large markies for all the marking to be done and we have food vans here on marking days. We just want to know if the members here think this could be a good idea and what there views on us being a station would be? Regards, Chris
pjc Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I'm sure they will welcome it Chris and well done for offering your facility.
pigeonpete Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 MMM, you think you will cope? as with midland national and nfc, gets really busy at times, how many members are you anticipating for the bicc mate? :-)
Guest Taylors Choice Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 On nfc marking days we manage about 200 fanciers on this premises with the scope for more as we have 16 acres of adaptable land so if its going to be busier we can easily adapt to that
mosslands1 Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 i think that it is a great idea and if it happens i will be applying for membership and i know a few others will be applying too are we going to have a clock station too ???????
Guest Taylors Choice Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Clock station needs looking into. As with the nfc, they have a clock station in hankelow run by alan shaw.. he may be interested in doing the clock station for the bicc as well, might be worth asking. I thought there would already have been a local clock station to the one in Manchester? Apparently clubs can do it now?

Any local club can now act as a clock station so long as there is someone who is prepared to set the clocks and fill out the paperwork and post off, obviously if members use Ets this is set at the marking and it just needs someone to take a printoff after the race.
peterpau Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 You'll be ok with your local club setting the clocks, trouble is my local club is folding.
mosslands1 Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 thats ok then we run mnfc and national clock station at the WHITCHURCH and district club we also use ETS
