PIGEON_MAN Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 think most large pigeon suppliers sell them , if not they can be bought from the rpra think they cost about £25 for a set Most people only buy half a dozen or if you know someone who wants some buy a set between you. There is a advert for them in the BHW dated 15th Jan.page 114.

Thought most Unions had passed the inserts before last season, the RPRA did I know.
Guest Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Thought most Unions had passed the inserts before last season, the RPRA did I know. yes , but still many clubs either against them , or un-sure about their use etc . andy.
PIGEON_MAN Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 yes , but still many clubs either against them , or un-sure about their use etc . andy. I dont think a club can refuse them if they are passed by your Union.
Guest Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I dont think a club can refuse them if they are passed by your Union. i think otherwise Tony , i know if passed by a union the rule should then apply to the club , but if objected to by the club or a change to that rule by the club then that will be the over-riding factor . (in all honesty it doesnt make a lot of sense working that way , but its deep rooted in the history of many clubs) as i am sure youll know , many do not like change. andy.

tryer Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 would i be correct in saying you dont have to use the inserts just the rubber but if it gets stuck it your own fault .
blackdog Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 would i be correct in saying you dont have to use the inserts just the rubber but if it gets stuck it your own fault . with the t3 clock you have to use a thimble if you dont have the inserts fitted mate
david.j Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 with the t3 clock you have to use a thimble if you dont have the inserts fitted mate the nehu allows rubbers to be dropped straight into cell without this conversion, but at own risk if clock jams
Pigeondoll Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 we have a quick start, the leather case and loads of thimbles. Just cover the carriage.
