duncandoo Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 what is your opinion on winter form,is this a myth or is it fact if you are not feeding for this how does it occur,or is your birds peaking now, never to be repeated during the racing season, good or bad your opinion please
Tony C Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 I think winter form is a myth. The cocks and hens are in most cases split and exercised seperate so the eagerness to hang around the loft lessons, they exercise freely but I wouldn't confuse this with form.
ALF Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 i'VE SEEN DOOS NOT TOO FAR FROM WHERE I USED TO SATY FLY FOR 2 HOURS DURING THE WINTER BUT THEY NEVER LASTED OUT THE SEASON ALTHOUGH THEY DONE WELL IN THE EARLY RACES ;)
duncandoo Posted March 6, 2010 Author Report Posted March 6, 2010 i keep my feeding down all winter i do not split my birds they are together all year ,but the amount of down that is on my roof tiles has been commented on as winter form,i do not support this theory i think the birds are just showing there well being

jimmy white Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 yes , i think a big difference from form and racing form,, in my opinion, birds now must get their lungs and heart going, with a fly each day,,,, ready to bring in form when needed or as i used to say,, get the cobwebs out their lugs
