bobby1 Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Try Lizzie Rigby or Retford Poultry. Think Petron also do the tests now.

Guest waynemorris Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 I have just used Ian Cameron of Manor Court Vets in Chester and was very pleased with the service and advice i recieved i would recommend them to anyone Yours in the sport Wayne
Beanz Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I use Gary Spavin of Lancaster, stay well clear of Lizzie Rigby cost me a fortune once for her to tell me what I hadn't got, thing was wanted to know what I did have.
Guest Greig the doo Drysdale Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 I agree with your theme of independant testing, having results double checked.. I think there is always a danger of conflict of interest when a test service also supplies pigeon medical specifics, too easy to change hats yes you've got a problem and yes I can help you with what you need for it. It'll take me a while to get started [close season] but I intend to do my own, and if there is something there that I need advice on, I intend to pop it up on screen [should that be poop it up ;D ] for others to have a look, and / or take it to the vet. Incidently, anyone know where to purchase chemicals for a Gram stain? Taking over someone elses post I think it should be removed (same as moderators do to us)
jimmy white Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 if you do intend to have your pigeons droppings tested ,, take the samples at different times of the day ,and obviosly] differant parts of loft
