Does anyone use this as a canker preventative? If so what is your mix?

One level tea spoon (5grams) once a week to 4.5 litres of water through out the breeding season, after I have rung the babies etc.

One small level tea spoon (3 grams) once a week for the race team in 4.5 litres, when they spend two nights or longer in the unit/baskets etc, on the sunday or monday.

Cheshunt compound - available in the gardening section of some stores - contains copper sulphate - but what else is in it I don't know - and copper sulphate might be used by people who keep fish ( koi carp etc) so might be available in some shops - but not sure I would use it

yes i seen it there red ch hen did you get the bargain of the day harkers h/form 5kgs for £7.50  on the stand right in the far corner on the r/hand side as you go in

In the US most poultry supply houses carry it. Pond suppliers also have it but it is alot courser and they sell it in 50 pound bags.

I won 3x20kg bags in a race sponsored by Harkers - so I don't need any for a while  ;D

 

but I did spend most of my money on that stand on other things
