It's wonderful stuff they are making it blended with other things, Doxy-T which is with Tylan and also Doxy +, which is tylan and suanovil

We get it and it comes with a german or Belgian label

best not to mention suppliers on line ...pm only the site can get into trouble if its not legal in the uk.

 

docyt is for respitory infections.

 

i believe it has tetracycline init.....which has been proven to work better that any other resp treament...even in humans.

Hi . You can perhaps try PURBAC which is a broad spectrum intibiotics meant for humans . I had very good results on sick birds including younbird illness @ going lites .

 

Only drawback , do not use it continuously . You have to break in between .

PURBAC is Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim - which is used to treat e-coli , paratyphoid and coccidiosis in pigeons

 

it doesn't treat respiratory problems

Your vet should sell it to you if it is needed.

It is also sold under the name of Ornicure. I believe this is manufactured by a branch of the Versa Laga group.

    is Duocycline the same as Doxycycline,if so how much to use in 1litre of water please.

REMEMBER WHEN YOU TREAT THE BIRDS WITH DOXY T  THE NEXT 2 DAYS GIVE THE BIRDS MULTI-VIT ........DOXT T CAN BE VERY HARMFUL TO THE BIRDS IF YOU DONT GIVE THE CORRECT DOSE SO BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN YOU TREAT

and [i think] with distilled water [not tap] and take all of the grit way

NO ALAN BIRDS A 1 BUT A FEW YEARS AGO I TREATED FOR THE RESPITARY DISEASE WITH ORNICURE FROM THE VET IT COST ME OVER £200.00 WASTE OF MONEY GOT SOME DOXY T IT WORKED WONDERS FOR THE BIRDS BUT AS I SAID YOU HAVE TO WATCH WHAT YOU GIVE

YES THAT CORRECT TAKE ALL DRINKERS OUT AND CLEAN WELL THEN FEED BIRDS THEN WAIT 1 HOUR THEN DRINKERS BACK IN WITH THE DOXY AND DISTILLED WATER I HAD TO DO THIS FOR 2 WEEKS BUT AMAZING WHAT IT ACCOMPLISHED MY LOFT NEVER WITHOUT IT NOW

hi ,my birds have or so it seem,Respiratory Disease,they fly for on average just 4 to 5 minutes  and some of them are panting like crazy when they land. i thought i was buying Doxycycline online (it was Doxycycline i ordered and was assured thats what i was getting) but when it arrived it is Duocycline. i want to use it in the drinking water so need to know how much to use per litre and for how long,.

doxycyline is 5gm to 10 lit of water for 3 to 5 days

 

The dosage depends on the strength - it is available in several strengths

 

5% 10% 40% 100% - are the ones I know of - all require different amounts in water (shrug)
