hi could you post a few pics of your long distance birds abit of info about them what they have achieved strains of pigeon asking as this is somethink im very interested in long distance.

My old favourite,won Portsmouth and two 2nds same race point.288 ml.won Messac 481 mile.won Fourgeres 451.mile.several other tickets at shorter distances.He's a Dick Baldwin Barker 01 bird.click on photo to enlarge.

my old janseen cock, flown pau and bergerac numerous times before being retired, he is 1991 bred

 

he is a cracking bird mate how many miles is it for you to pau have you managed to get some off spring off the fella if you did how did they go if you dont mind me asking bud

Sorry mate our fed doesn't fly Pau,Messac is as far as we go.When he was 2nd X 2 at Portsmouth he was beaten by a son.I have one bird left in the loft off him he's had a few minor tickets,all being well he'll be going over the water next season.Old cock breeds silver hens now and then but never they manage to show any signs of being a champion ?

Here is one of our national winners.

 

Jake's Princess, she won 1st Open SNRPC Cholet 560 miles, only bird on the day. The SNRPC convoy was liberated along with many organisations from the north west England, she beat evrything flying 100 miles less than her.... for this performance she also scooped up an RPRA award.

 

She is a Van De Pol x Alfons Bauwens, both her parents are bred by Geoof Kirkland

that bird is a very nice mate parents are bred from an brillent middle to long distance flyer i think i remeber geoff saying in a dvd i seen he bought these alfron bauwens in 1976 and ever since they have done very well for him his bird the pest taken achievemnets in the bbc and midland nation flying club from alfrons bauwens bloodlines.

pau to me is 523miles roughly. one bred down through his line has raced bercerac twice bordeaux once palamos three times and pau int and marsaille int, he did both internationals this year. will post some pics of him and some others this weekend
