used sulphur tablets to keep a breed of dog cool but not for pigeons ( the dog was a Chinese Shar-Pei )

Flowers of Sulpher, i have heard is used for helping to condition the feathers whether its to make the quills stronger or to help increase the bloom i don't know.....

do you mix it in water to drink or used as a dip / bath ?

flower of sulphar is used to kill feather mite and mange in a dog

it was used by the greyhound men when there dogs got mange  itch it was also used for athletes foot in days of old mixed with lard

now there is  ivermectin,and powders for mites, and bath salts.

it is something he swore by and i beleive it was a tiny pinch onto the grit.

 

Reason for asking is i have had some in my cupboard long enough without ever using it.

 

Thanks for the info guys, i think it can stay in the cupboard  ;D
