how much should you put in the bath water to be safe ,

Very little, you just want a small pinch on the end of a tea spoon and i mean a small amount.Lindsay

is it safe to use in the drinking water, say about the same strenght as you put in the bath, was told that if you use once a week it helps to keep the nose area clear.

I use it in the bath water as can be seen in the above photo,if I was to use it in the drinker (which I don't) I would make it a lot weeker. The birds always drink out of the bath water before taking a dip,but if that strengh of water was put infront of the purely to drink I think it might have an adverse effect.
