Guest snookbri Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Thanks, have been giving cold compresses hourly for last 2 hours, wondered if anything else would help?
Guest joshdonlan Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 i suppose you could you some sprain spray something like deep freeze
Guest Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Ice compress on and above ring as ring is metal it will keep cold and help control swelling. Never put ice direct on skin as this can burn skin and cause pain for bird, bag of frozen peas or broken ice cubes in plastic bag wrapped in flannel put on ring for a couple of hours should help.
peterpau Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 keep an eye on it mate cos you don't want the blood supply cut of by the ring
Guest snookbri Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 Many thanks for all idea's/suggestions,general feeling is to keep swelling down by keeping cool which i will do.
