john@formula 1 lofts Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Sorry just wanted to know if his nom de plume was based on the Dylan Thomas principal. Llaregub Hill is a place in Dylan Thomas' famous novel 'Under Milk Wood'. If you reverse Llaregub it spells Bugger all, if you reverse his nom de plume you'll see he has rodent tendancies Albear not sure who you are having a pop at mate me Stuart or Lennaut tar but i always find it is best just to come out and say what is on your mind, can not speak for anyone else but i have always done my hardest to help anyone out i can and since i set up Formula 1 i have given loads of birds away to good causes and new starters or people who have had miss fortune in fact as i am sure Okitsme will confirm (i think i have the correct person) i gave him 2 unrung cocks that were bred in my stock loft which did not have rings on at the show. regards John
Okitsme Posted December 9, 2008 Author Report Posted December 9, 2008 Thats right John did give me two extra unrung cocks at the show. As a novice I was not sure what to look for and fellow club members appeared and helped me choose. They were very impressed with the quality of pigeons we bought, I think one of our members also bought a pigeon. It was a nice gesture John and I hope to do business with you guys again.
Guest Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 John not having a pop at anyone, Lennut Tar in reverse is rat tunnel, was wondering whether he copied Dylan Thomas in the same way that Dylan Thomas in his novel had a place called Llareggub (hill) if you reverse that it says Bugger all, should have pmd him instead I've taken it off thread, sorry John was certainly not having a pop at anyone.

Albear is just showing he is sophisticated and reads the classic's No Ronnie not sophisticated, appeared in it 'in the round' for the turn again theatre in Holmfirth where I once lived (next door village Meltham) I was the voice. The laugh was that I was the only Taff among all the Yorkies and at half time one of the audience was overheard to say, she thought it was good but the 'voice' was exagerating the Welsh accent too much ;D ;D
