mavrick Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 i have noticed we have a pigeon in the stock loft and it is not shaking more like trebling quite bad what can it be,
Guest Davy Fleming Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Had it myself often but never knew why this was and it didn't harm the bird
Guest IB Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 If its trembling, its part of normal behaviour.
kingbilly2 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 some birds in top form shiver and tremble ;) ;)
showman Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 I always believed when any of my birds was trembling, it was a sign of really good condition.JMO>
demolition man Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 it could be elvis all shook up ;D ;D ;D Seen it before don't think its nothing to worry about
Guest Freebird Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 This has cropped up a few times on here since I've been a member. See it in some of my birds occasionally and I thought it was a sign of good condition as the trembling birds always looked in good fettle but wondered if it could be a sign of something else maybe even a defficiency?
Guest frank dooman Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 some birds in top form shiver and tremble ;) ;) 100% Is it trembling or shivering? and shaking its head
Shortcut Lofts Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 We have an 06 cock that trembles every time he is in top condition. Nothing i would worry about.
alex young Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Seen this before in a pigeon that had been bitten in the wing by a rat, in that case it was paratyphoid. I would get the bird checked out for piece of mind.
Mealy Cock Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 When I was racing I often noticed this in some of my y/bs, one of them topped the Fed. I have always looked for this in my birds as I was told as a young lad that it was a sign of top form.
Guest bakes Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 got two yearling cocks that do it and noticed there droppings when ive strapped out there boxs have gone smaller i asked a mate of mine and he said its a sign the birds are in form dont no if he's pulling my leg or not all the best.
