sapper756 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Isolate it imeadiately, away from other birds, to prevent infection spreading. put on a light feed and add vitamins to the water, if it does not recover within a day or 2, then dispose of it.

One thing you might like to consider, along with the other good advise here etc. Is place a couple of small pieces of charcoal down its throat, does wonders at times, as strange as it may seem. Enjoy

Guest chrisss Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 "old hands" pills/potions are very good if the bird is going light [lots of websites have got them]they dont' cost that much if you have to go down the pill route then they should work.its not so much for this one bird [it might be too late ]but it will do if/when any of the others catch it
