carl Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 Well people anyone use,gem the pax. I have used this product for two seasons now and would love some info on the product. Do you use it and what do you think.
Guest Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 GEMTHEPAX The use of Gemthepax during the year is strongly recommend, especially during breeding and racing. it has been specially developed and carefully controlled to have a specific positive effect on the beneficial gut micro flora by providing essential nutrients in a highly bioavailable form. Independent studies carried out in several laboratories (including the world famous 'Institute de Pasteur in Paris') have shown that gemthepax is able to stimulate these beneficial species. Other independent studies carried out show that Gemthepax can stimulate and protect the beneficial gut cro-flora even during antibiotic therapy. Always use GEMTHEPAX if ever the loft requires the use of antibiotics. GEMTHEPAX is produced using a patented process to ensure a consistent product with high Bioactivity Coefficient. It is also backed by a extensive European research program. It can be seen therefore that the pedigree of GEMTHEPAX is second to none, but we all know that pedigrees are only pieces of paper. So what can you the fancier expect from using GEMTHEPAX ? BREEDING:- You will rear better youngsters when they are raised on GEMTHEPAX. The robustness and feather quality of Y.B.'s on weaning has to be seen to be appreciated. You will see the difference around the nest bowl, the quality of the droppings tells you that the birds are doing well. The parents show no stress from rearing, they are full of health and vigour. Very important for stock birds if you want to raise more than a couple of rounds. When weaning youngsters always put them on GEMTHEPAX for the first few days in the new loft. The stress of leaving their parents, being handled and put into a new section can more often than not send them backwards so the use of GEMTHEPAX is recommended at this time. RACING:- We firmly believe that using GEMTHEPAX during racing will give your birds the edge needed to reach the top. There are no magic potions that win races - you need good pigeons and good management first, and that's up to you the fancier. If you have these two qualities then the use of GEMTHEPAX will give you those extra yards that are the difference between being first and last. Use at the rate of 5ml per litre of drinking water 3/4 times a week during both racing and breeding. The rest of the year twice per week to keep the birds in top condition. 500ml & 1,000ml bottles

james_mc_laughlin Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Used Gemthepax for the first time last season and was amazed with the results, especially when breeding. Have been using it faithfully ever since. I am also in agreement with pigeon_man, I think I will give the G10 pellets a try this year.
AlanWilkins Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 has any one seen or tryed these g10 pellets my corn dealers got 20 bags on order an i wondering about having one to mix with the homaform n groats i feed when chipping so if you know any thing about how big the pellets are and how the birds take to them it will make me mind up
carl Posted December 7, 2005 Author Report Posted December 7, 2005 Alan was thinking along the same lines myself, the question i ask is,if i start using the g10 pellets would i still need gem the pax.Anyone got a email for gem products or mr brian wall.
Silverdale Lofts Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 Carl thought gemthepax been added to the pellets http://www.gemsupplements.co.uk
carl Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 so does that mean i wont have to buy gem the pax if i start using the pellets. thanks silverdale
AlanWilkins Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Wel ive looked on the gem site n no mention og g10 there so im still in the dark
westburylofts Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Was a write up / advert in one of the pigeon book's , think it was the B.H.W. but it says that it has the G 10 pellet's in some of the mix's i would say that if it has the G 10's in it then you do not need to give it any other way. But i would say that i will carry on adding it to the corn, that way i know all the birds are getting it, with the pellet's some birds may not like them and do not eat them. RAY
carl Posted December 13, 2005 Author Report Posted December 13, 2005 Spot on there ray,i email brian wall at gem products and never got a reply. well i will stick to adding it to the corn then.
westburylofts Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Was at the corn store yesterday and they was saying that they ordered some G10 from Gem and was told that it was not available as they have not got the bag's to put it into. RAY
robert.sutherland Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 first season ive used it started two weeks before pairing all through to now youngsters came away at 18 days like little bricks not one loose droping in the loft since or dirty wattles great stuff bob
Mike Lycett Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Right For email its gemsupps@boltblue.com (If memory serves me right) Gemthepax, Strike & Hormoform are 3 of the best products on the market for me. We use it at least 3 times a week all year round and last season had 16x1st, 12x2nd, 10,3rd,11x4th & 11x5th. G10's have Gemthepax inside them.. You can either by the G10's on their own, but Gem have started to add them into their mixture now (about 9% I think). Our birds have reared on their "Breeding Plus" which has the G10's in it - but we raced swith adding G10's to the mixture last season before they went on sale to the public. Brian Wall used us as a "guinea pig" and we were impressed - 'd always been a hater of pellets You could argue that you don't need Gemthepax if you use G10's, but I still give the Gemthepax. I think its too good to compromise on Mike
pigeonjock Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 WE HAVE USED GEM PELLETS THIS YEAR ADDED TO A BREEDING MIX WITH FERTIBOL ADDED TO IT.YOUNG HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING WHEN THEY HAVE LEFT THE NEST.OREGO STIM WAS USED IN CONJUNCTION IN THE WATER.
Guest Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I have just viewed the webpage but it doesn't list the contents of the GEMTHEPAX, are these all natural ????. seems very similar to the Chisholm Train Health Products we use.
jimmy white Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 ;D ;D is it two great minds think alike,, ;D or is it fools seldom differ ;D ;D cause i was thinking exactly the same as you, it seems to be getting good reports , but like you i would like to know if it was completely natural :)
schouwman71 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 havnt used g10 pellets yet ,but heard of fanciers having trouble with their birds eating them, plus some have expierienced wet droppings in their youngsters .
