:) Gems breding mix but added to that i use barley, :-/ plus pellets, plenty of fresh grit, red & black minerals. But once the youngsters have hatched the first 5 day i feed pellets only in the morning, & good corn in the evening,as i find that the y/bs need  a good crop full first thing & so with feeding  pellets  first it does not stain the parents while pumping, the y/bs as  :-/ the pellets are very easy to digest bit like weetabix really( mush.).  ;D ;Dwell works for me Speck

i feed a high protein feed with a little maize , galley pots of peanuts in their boxes,  couple of tablespoons of baby milk powder in their water , and fresh grit, minerals, pickstones ,every day, never tried pellets, but can see the sense in using them as described.

going to try something different this year i think that i picked up on a dvd so i can supply the birds with 3 different grains ect at 3 different times. So i will be checking out some grains in the next few weeks to see what 2 grains i will be using alongside g10 pellets which ive never used before but intend on using this year

Beware of using turkey pellets as they usually have antibiotics added use poultry pellets in stead :)
